Melt the butter and mix into the flour and salt

Add whisked egg

Add enough milk to make a firm dough

Divide into 6 or 8

Flatten and add to the top of a stew

Cook for 20 minutes with the lid on at 180C

Cook for a further 10 minutes with the lid off
