Bread – King Arthur Sour Dough

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. First, feed the sourdough starter and leave it to grow for 4 hours

  2. Mix the sourdough starter, water, flour, and salt in a mixer/mixing bowl.

  3. Leave the mix for an hour, then fold it. Repeat this two more times.

  4. Shape the dough, then leave it to rise for 4-5 hours.

  5. Put the dough in the fridge overnight.

  6. Bake it for 45 minutes in a cast iron pot/iron former at 220°c with a lid.

  7. Remove the lid and bake for another 10 minutes at 180°c, then remove the bread from the oven and leave it to cool.
